I have mushy, terrible ankles. I’ve sprained both of them more than once and they are weak and prone to more sprains easily. When I go exploring or out for the day, they are the first things to wear out. These ankle braces are the best invention! They are light in weight, but very supportive. There are three straps that Velcro easily. One strap goes around top of ankle, then two wrap across side of ankle. They fit in my shoes without taking up a lot of extra space so the shoes still fit fine. I find I have to wear tall enough socks so the braces are on top of the socks. If the socks are shorter, the Velcro has rubbed my legs and causes sore spots. They aren’t beautiful - they are black and substantial. They are Velcro so they make the Velcro sound when taking them off - nothing quiet and subtle. But under jeans and slacks, no one ever knows I have them on except me. I can now head for long walks and enjoy the malls and fairs and long days on my feet. These are a treasure!!!

I don’t know how it works but we’ve been using this product for three years now and at the first sniffle or sneeze we down a tablet or two and it never manifests itself into a full-blown cold. I had bulked my muscles doing power yoga and weights. Customer Review: House Resolution 676 Would Create Universal Health Care in US
SICKO is an entertaining and eye opening documentary that maintains a sense of dry humor about our corrupt health care system. We already pay for universal care here but don’t receive it because over 30% of the health care dollar is diverted to things not related to treating people.

HR 676 in the House of Representatives would create universal health care here and needs more cosponsors. In California, there is SB 840 which would do the same in California.

The leading cause of bankruptcies and foreclosures now is because people can’t afford to pay their doctor’s bills. We have a system now in which insurance agents are more powerful than doctors and this needs to change.

Customer Review: And I thought I would hate it
Some disclosure, I do not like the way that Michael Moore makes his “documentaries” and I honestly do not feel they should be in that category. For he does make sure that everything is shown to support his preconceived idea. You know that once he starts he is going to be supporting his personal view. And that is seen in this film. I know how bad Cuba’s health system is for the normal person and this film does not come close to showing it. We only get to see where the elite of Cuba go for healthcare. And we do not get to see those who wait trying to get specialist care in the “free” systems like France. It would be nice to see the good and bad of each system.

Now with all that I have to say that even though his scenes are “cherry-picked”, everything that Mr. Moore shows in his film about our Insurance system is quite accurate. In the richest country in the world with the best doctors and most advanced technology we have too many people going without required care. And his includes both medical procedures and prescriptions. I have seen a five year paperwork trail of someone insured by one of the largest health insurance companies in the U.S.A., with full health coverage, that was denied coverage for a piece of durable equipment that was required. This person could not wait for insurance so the equipment was purchased and claim filed, of course the claim was denied. After the five years of appeals, including involvement by his Senator and the U.S Department of Health, the piece of equipment was approved. But guess what? A letter was sent saying they, the insurance company, would not pay for the durable equipment bought because it was the “wrong” brand!

Most of our medical practitioners and all prescription companies have no compassion. All that matters is the bottom line, greed. We may have very good quality medical care, if you can get it that is. Having insurance is only for those who really do not need it. And even if you do have great insurance, it does not mean you are covered at all. So obviously the United States is in need of healthcare reform. And I do hope that everyone sees this film with an open mind. I know it shows only extremes, but what someone should realize that in the United States, not one citizen should have to go without required prescriptions or medical care regardless of its cost. And no one should have to choose between his or her life and their home.

We all know nothing is free, a free system would mean increase taxes. But let us see what those taxes would be and put it on a ballot so that the people can vote on the systems they want. The taxes might not be that much higher overall. Or perhaps the single payer system. No matter what anyone thinks of Michael Moore, hopefully this fill will increase the discourse on the U.S.A.’s healthcare system. This is the best film he has produced yet.

Although this DVD contains modifications of the poses for each trimester, the modification for the third trimester basically involved sitting in a chair. I found many of the poses did not feel appropriate for a prenatal program, and did not feel any benefit from the program. I think that the program would be too easy in your first and second trimesters in addition to being almost useless in the third. It’s also inconvenient to have to have a chair available for the program. The guided meditation at the end is too short. I strongly recommend the Divine Mother prenatal DVD instead of this one.

I started this in my first trimester- it came in handy to go through the warm up on nights that I wasn’t sleeping well and couldn’t find a comfortable position. I woke up one morning and did it at 5 am, then went back to sleep for 3 hours! Good upper and lower body stretches- relaxing and rejuvenating all at once. Really helps to alleviate lower back pain, which I’ve had since day one of my pregnancy. Enjoy!

Instructions for Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitors
There are several easy steps to taking your blood pressure with this blood pressure monitor. First of all, avoid eating, smoking, and exercising for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Remove tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm, and sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Slide your left arm through the cuff and position the cuff approximately 0.5-inches above the elbow. On the cuff you’ll notice a green marker; position this marker directly over the artery on the inside of your arm. Next, secure the cuff with the Velcro material. The cuff should make direct contact with your skin, but you should be able to easily fit your index finger between the cuff and your arm.

Customer Review: CUFF ADJUSTMENT SOLUTION
The machine is outstanding, however there is one quirk that is easily fixable. I have found that the reason that I was getting frequent error messages on “start up” was because the software shut off the machine after 10 seconds if the cuff had not detected a signal from the arm artery, and 10 seconds was not enough time to build up the pressure above 30 which is needed to push the cuff against the arm artery hard enought to get a strong signal to the cuff. The solution that works for me when starting the machine, is to push the “blue line” on the outside of the cuff, very close to where to hose enters the cuff, and push very hard (with about 15 lbs force) against the arm artery until the meter reads at least 30, then you can release the pushing. I am extreemly happy with the machine.

Very impressed with company and am hoping to reap the benefits of these little berries. If you wonder what it tastes like, I would say that a raisin is the closest comparison, but gojis seem to leave an aftertaste that is a little gritty. If you can put up with it, it is a great way to curb cravings for something sweet and an awesome way to get antioxidents.

I’ve been happy with the EAS CarbControl bars I’ve purchased from Amazon. I have been using Alli now for about a month. I have hashimoto’s disease and no thyroid gland so my metabolism is almost zero. I have been on a low calorie diet for a couple of months now. Even though I am slow at losing weight I have been able to lose six pounds with the help of Alli. I haven’t had any side effects yet, but I am on a really low fat diet. The best advice I got was to bring my unit in once I bought one (I’m pre-hypertension and so daily monitoring is helping me stay motivated for weight and salt intake). I bought the MF-81 and did bring it to my next visit. It was spot-on with the cuff! I’m sure that, on occasion, a unit will be off for one reason or another, so do what I did and bring it to the doctor’s office with you! More about this specific unit: I like that it is battery-operated, and that it has a memory function. It is also compact. It sits by my morning vitamins, out in the open so I don’t forget to check my pressure. I’ve had it for nearly a year, used it nearly every day (don’t always take it on trips), and only changed the battery once. I haven’t had any other tool for checking my blood pressure, so can’t compare it to anything else, but I will say that this one is accurate (don’t forget to check w/a doctor), easy to use, has a good battery life, and a nice memory function.
