I do some type of physical activity almost every day and I have several wicking shirts that I had just about given up on because of the smell once they got wet again after washing. I used Win one time and the smell was gone - this is great stuff. Even after long weekend camping trips going hiking and mountain biking with no access to a washer and dryer I can come back home and throw my ripe clothes in the machine with a little bit of Win and they come out smelling great, and they do not start to stink right away when I start sweating in them again like they would if cleaned with regular detergent. Also, I normally buy the “free” types of detergents with no perfumes or dyes because of past reactions but I have had no problems in that dept with this product.

Overall, I am happy with this pack. The only problem I have is that the shoulder straps are designed to lay flat on the chest, but without a clip for across the chest they don’t lay properly. Because of this, with a heavy full load the straps start to hurt the arm-pit and shoulders a bit after wearing the pack for a long period. I’ve had Leslie’s tapes (1 & 2 mile) for quite a while now, but I haven’t used them in a while. I’m trying to up my excercise everday to try to lose 20 pounds that I’ve gained over several years of basic inactivity and a desk job. This tape is great because I can squeeze it in with very little time commitment. I get up at 5, jump into my tennis shoes and excercise in my pajamas, and it feels great that even if I don’t get any more excercise for the rest of the day, I’ve at least done a mile!

My mother, who is 46 years old, started doing this workout a couple months ago. I always shrugged it off until a couple days ago. I was watching the video while my mother did it and I really had an urge to try it. Leslie seemed very friendly and inviting, but not overly annoying (like other instructors in many workout videos), and the workout is simple with just enough difficulty. This is really great if you’re out of shape and don’t have a lot of time. Anyone can do it…it’s really easy and dare I say, fun! Whether you’re 17, like me, or 70…skinny or chubby…this video is for you. I highly recommend it.

This Basal gives you pinpoint accuracy to your body’s temperature. It works well, but takes a long time to complete it’s cycle. I believe the literature says it takes about two minutes, but it may be as much as four (it varies from day to day). I have used some Basils that report (with a beep every few seconds) that it is still working. This one gives you no indication that it is still working until it is done. -Sometimes fall asleep to be woken up by the ‘finished’ beep. I would buy it again, but wish it had some reporting beep to keep you awake or let you know it was still working.

Customer Review: Good Matcha, But There Is Better Out There
I noticed a difference between the quality of this matcha and a much more expensive variety. I am currently a matcha neophyte but I noticed that the expensive matcha tasted significantly better, seemed more fresh, and had a better brighter color. I use one heaping teaspoon per pint of hot water, and unfortunately with the more expensive variety it costs over five dollars per pint of matcha tea when you use this much. Even so, if you can afford it, seek out the finer grades of matcha straight from Uji Japan. The Uji region is famous for their fine Gyokuro tea and superior grades of matcha. If you don’t have that kind of money, this matcha could suffice, but try to get the Uji-based premium matchas, especially for special occasions. This matcha is listed as being from Uji, but it isn’t as good as the more expensive varieties from the same area.

This is the coolest CD I have ever seen. Finally someone got it right. It has just the right balance between fun and education. Gorilla Poop cookies!?? I was surprised they had the guts to put this one in. I’m glad they did too because that is what caught my son’s attention! Now he’s telling me where white flour came from and how potatoes were discovered and all kinds of things that I don’t even know.
Customer Review: Not very kid friendly
My eight year old son has a great interest in cooking, is a good reader, and a very knowledgable computer nerd :-). But even so, this CD was poorly organized and required constant intervention and help from me. We both quickly lost interest. My son learns more about cooking and recipes from watching the cooking section on “ZOOM”. This was a real disappointment because I use DVO’s Recipe/Meal Planner software and was very impressed with that. However, this is not the same quality as the adult software DVO makes.

After a gradual warm-up sequence, Suzanne Deason and her fellow instructors lead you through a series of standing asanas, back and forward bends, twists, and so on, with the proper technique and function of each pose explained clearly and concisely. Customer Review: Relaxed pace yoga practice.
Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss is a beginner’s yoga workout which is approximately 45 minutes in length and is led by Suzanne Deason, who authors the book of the same name. It is filmed in a lovely outdoor setting in Arizona. The workout features three other ladies who do different levels of modifications of the yoga poses using blocks, straps, and blankets. The women are different sizes and body shapes to encourage anyone and everyone to try yoga.

This workout begins with seated breathing poses and twists. It then moves on to various standing poses, such as warrior, triangle, crescent, and chair pose. There are no traditional flowing sun salutations and only one down dog pose. The practice then moves on to a seated position where more twisting spinal rotation poses are done and she does a bit of ab work and bridge pose. There is a relaxation at the end.

The title of this DVD may be a bit misleading to some because this is a fairly slow paced, relaxing practice that is geared towards the beginner. This is not a fast paced, power yoga workout that will burn lots of calories and make you sweat. This workout aims to promote weight loss from within by relaxing the mind and body. It works to calm the emotions which drive some to turn to food and binge eating. She covers this in the book.

Customer Review: 5+ without the technical difficulties.
This is the THIRD copy of this DVD I have purchased over the years. Foolishly, I have replaced it thinking it was my DVD player that was causing the skips because I used it so much. I was so annoyed to rip open my new copy and find that the SAME skips occurred in the SAME places. Arggg.

Obviously, I love the DVD and think it very worthwhile for the beginning yoga enthusiast. The different levels are great and I have enjoyed advancing over time. However, it is so disruptive to have the DVD jump and pause all the time.

Last point is that you really can’t expect great weight loss from this or any yoga routine. However, it does make you more mindful and relaxed, so that promotes healthful living habits which could encourage weight loss.

Without the technical problems, I give this video a 5+

Does it matter where the pedometer is placed or attached?
The HJ-150 and 151 Pedometer must be positioned correctly. Attach the unit to your belt or to the top of your waistband. The unit must be horizontal to the ground in order for the unit to function correctly. The HJ-112 and HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer can also be placed in your pocket or purse.
What’s the accuracy rate of Omron Pedometers?
The precision of the step counting is within +/- 5%.
What are moderate steps?
At least 30 minutes of moderate exercise is recommended each day. The HJ-151 Pedometer separately displays the steps and minutes walked at a moderate pace.
What are aerobic steps?
The HJ-112 and HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer separately displays aerobic steps and minutes that start counting after 10 minutes of continuous walking with more than 60 steps a minute.

I bought this for my 6 year old, and she LOVES it! I thought it would be a little too much for her when I first watched it…I do Tae Bo myself, and the moves in this DVD are just a lot of moves from some of Billy Blanks regular Tae Bo workouts, just not quite as intense (of course, since this one is for kids!)It is about a 40 minute workout, and she completes the whole thing without taking a break (I always offer breaks, and she never takes one). She does very good, and it is her favorite of all the other workouts she has, so I give it “THUMBS UP”!

A friend told me about this several years ago, and said I had to try it. I was very skeptical, as I was taking a multi vitamin from a name brand company. I lost a bet with him, and the price I had to pay was to try Weil Nutritionals out. I did, and since then have felt better than I did before taking it. With the off the shelf drug store stuff, that I had been taking, I was always felling run down, and getting sick. My wife started taking Weil Nutritionals too, and has quit taking the women’s nutritional products from other companies. I was looking for an exciting tycoon game in fitness and I found this one. I’d have to say I was a bit disapointed in the game. The graphics are not that good. And you can’t control any of the people or situations. The only thing you can do is buy a few things to open your gym and wait for participants to enter. And you can read their comments. But you cannot interact with them or anything else. It is also very difficult to upgrade your gym with the little bit of money you get in the beginning. Another thing I disliked was you cannot rotate objects to place in the gym or design it much. Anyway, at least the price was reasonable. After playing it, I could see why the price was so low. I do not recommend you buy this game, even if it only cost a dollar! This is the kind of game you would expect to see on a free online game site.

How long did it take the programmer(s) to write the code that made this “game”? If it took more than an hour I’d be shocked. I spent 4.99 [4.99 too much] at Ollies, I was at work during the holidays, nothing to do and thought this game would help me get through it. NOT close. This software is pretty good. I homeschool my 9 year old son, 8 year old daughter, and my 7 year old niece. The only drawback I have found is that there doesn’t seem to be any grade level distinctions for the videos or quizzes. My kids seem to like the videos and I like the different quizzes. I wish there were worksheets as well as quizzes for a little more reinforcement of the material in the videos.

Matt and Khym is a wonderful introduction into the joys of married sex. When you look at this movie, you can see the genuine love Matt and Khym have for each other. Matt and Khym are so candid in talking about their life in and out of the bedroom that you come away feeling like they could be your next door neighbors or close friends. The scene at the end of their lovemaking when Matt looks lovingly at Khym is the way any girl would want her guy to look at her. I replayed the promo at Tony Comstock’s web site over and over again, just to see that look.

This is definitely not your typical porn movie. Half of the movie involves talking interspersed with clips of their love making. I recommend couples watch the whole movie in the living room, and then move on to the bedroom.

Customer Review: Beautiful and believable
This is the first of the Comstock movies I’ve seen, but it absolutely won’t be the last. This really is something different - “documentary” erotica, about a real couple not so different from anyone else.

The first half of the movie features the two talking to a silent, unseen interviewer. They describe their relationship, from the time they met, to their wedding (surprisingly like my own), through years of a complex and full home life. Throughout, they describe the career of their physical relationship at each period. It comes across as happy and a bit ordinary - I like that, it creates a kind of comfort with the couple that I don’t have good words for, and teases me into caring about them.

The interview is broken into segments of a few minutes each, interleaved with moments from their bedroom love-making. That seems natural, too, the kinds of activities and positions I’ve enjoyed rather than bizarre contortions to create some camera angle. The interview ends about halfway through the movie. At that point, the bedroom scene restarts, then plays beyond what we saw in the first half. Because the interview made the two seem more real, my own arousal comes from theirs as if they’re sharing it with me - not vicarious or voyeuristic, but friendly.

If you’ve been put off by adult films in the past, you probably had good reason: negative tone, forced activities and pacing, and people that look like plastic and sound worse. There’s none of that here. It’s warm, private, and above all happy - and isn’t that what a love life should be?
